Students of CAMMS(Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Management Systems) are celebrating having graduated on Tuesday 20th of March at CIT.

Eighteen students received their certificicates in Lean Sigma (both Yellow and Green Belt), amongst them, Padraig Mallon- CEO- Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

CAMMS, which has experienced steady growth over the last number of years with an increasing number of students studying courses in Automation and Control, Lean Sigma, Project Management and Manufacturing Engineering. In the last month alone over 60 students have graduated from both Lean Sigma and Project Management courses run by CAMMS. 

CAMMS is a Continuing Professional Development Centre (CPD) within CIT dedicated to providing opportunities or workforce development and personal upskilling. The centre capitilises on the extensive expertise within CIT together with external professionals to deliver up to date education and training programs.

"At CAMMS, we aim to provide career focused education for the benefit of the personal, intellectual and professional development of students and to solve problems directly related to skills required by industry," CAMMS Director Daithi Fallon stated.
